Juniati Gunawan is graduated with a PhD degree in corporate reporting from Edith Cowan University (ECU), Western Australia,with specializing in corporate reporting.
As an academician, she publishes many articles in international journals and book chapters. She also received an Australian Award for Transformational Business Leadership – A Course for Outstanding Alumni of Australian Universities, Short Term Award, University of Sydney in 2016. Besides, she received research grant from The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia &The Universiti Teknologi Mara, The Accounting Research Institute, Malaysia. In 2013, she joined a world-mega research with The University of Toronto, Canada, supported by Enel Foundation, Italy.
She shares her insights through delivering guest lecturers and as a source person in national and international events. She actively promotes research by becoming a member of some international journal editorial boards. Her academic carrier has awarded her as the best lecturer in 2016 (for Jakarta & West Java area).
Apart from academic, as a practitioner, she provide services on the area of corporate sustainability reporting and asessmentfor a number of organisations from various industries. She is also an expert committee for corporate social responsibility awards events in Indonesia since 2015.
In 2016, she was assigned as an expert committee for corporate social responsibility under the Regional Representatives Council, Republic of Indonesia and currently, she is promoting sustainability reports for banking industries, supporting the Financial Services Authority’s sustainable finance initiatives and the International Finance Corporation.
